Attention Seniors and Parents of Seniors:
Planning to attend college but not sure how to pay for it? CHS is sponsoring a Financial Aid Workshop for seniors and their parents to attend on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. Our guest speaker will be a representative from Germanna CC’s Financial Aid office, but the information is not just specific to students planning to attend GCC–all students planning to utilize financial aid would benefit from attending. Be sure to add this date to your calendar!!
Attached please find a flyer for an upcoming CIAA College on Saturday, November 16, 2013 This is sponsored by the Men of the Nu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The event will be held in conjunction with the Matoaca High School Office of Professional School Counseling at the Matoaca High School gymnasium located at 17700 Longhouse Lane, Chesterfield, VA 23838.
The fair will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 pm, and is free to the public! The purpose of the college fair is to expose students to the many programs offered by institutions of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Conference. Furthermore, the goal is to target students in grades 11-12 who have aspirations on continuing their education at a 4-year institution. The fail will also benefit graduating seniors who do not know their plans after high school.
