SAT will be given here at CHS on 12/7/13

Students who are planning to attend a four year college/university and need to take the SAT can take it at CHS on December 7 (this was not an original test date for CHS-it’s just been added). Also, there’s still space available for the SAT prep class–stop by the school counseling office to get a registration form. The SAT prep class prepares students in time to take the test on December 7. The charge is $42.00 (which includes the cost of the book). See your school counselor for more details.

Welcome Back CHS Students!

The CHS School Counseling Dept. welcomes all students back to CHS for the 2013-2014 school year! We have a few announcements as we kick off the new year:

1) We welcomed Mrs. Melissa Hipple, our new School Counseling Director, back in July. She joins us from Warren County where she served as a middle school director for several years. Mrs. Hipple also has high school experience. She has all last names beginning with A-Ch. Welome, Mrs. Hipple!

2) The PSAT, the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test, will be given to juniors and advanced sophomores on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Only those students who plan to take the SAT at a later date should take this practice test first. A Junior Class assembly will be held in early October that will provide more details.

3) The last day to drop or add a course is Friday, September 13, 2013.
